Guatemala has a lot of call centers these companies pay up to US$3,000 a month to native speakers that are willing to work up 10 hours a day. High paying positions usually require midnight or 3am starting shifts.

Working illegally at a call center is not possible, but it is possible in hostels, restaurants and any other leisure related business that English speaking is required. Payment could be up to US$20 a day plus tips.

To get a working permit in Guatemala you need a company to sponsor you.  College degree is required.
